Kenwood 10k Training Group

Be a part of the oldest 10k in California!

Heart and Sole will have a training group for the Kenwood Footrace
If you are looking to run your first 10k, first Kenwood Footrace or run a faster Kenwood time
We will help to get you prepared for this event

Over the last 4 years, Heart and Sole has prepared runners to complete their first Kenwood 10k and helped others to improve on their previous performances.

Join an experienced crew with over 20 Kenwood Races under their belts including a former Champion who has 10 top 10 finishes and knows the course inside and out.

9 Week program


Beginning: May 2nd
Ending: July 4th

 

Info meetings:

Attending the info meeting is not necessary but encouraged.
April 25 - 7 pm

 

Training Includes:

-2 coached workouts per Week
Thursdays at 5:30pm
and
Saturdays at 8am
(Do not forget our Tuesday fun runs).

-Mini Seminars covering everything you need to help you accomplish your goals including:
Nutrition, Hydration, Mechanics, and Mental Preparation.

-Daily Training Schedule.

-Technical Training Shirt.

 

 

Fees:

Cost $80.

Been in a previous group? Bring a friend and receive $10 off.

In order to insure you get the most out of the program our only requirement is the ability to complete 3 miles.

 

 

Participation in the race is not necessary.

This Training Group will be led by Kenny Brown. Boasting a personal best of 2:26:44 for the marathon, Kenny has been a top local runner for years, competing in distances ranging up to 50 miles. Not only does he put in the utmost effort in his own training, for years he has done his best to help others reach their potential as well.

We will also have a knowledgeable and experienced supporting staff on hand to help.
